Signs: Journal of Women in Culture and Society
Mary Hawkesworth, Editor

Signs publishes pathbreaking work in interdisciplinary feminist scholarship that challenges the boundaries of knowledge concerning women's and men's lives, gender relations, sexualities, raced and gendered practices, institutions, cultural productions, theoretical concepts and frameworks, understandings of the past and present, and possibilities for the future. Signs is published by the University of Chicago Press. The editorial office for the journal is located at Rutgers University and sponsored by the Women’s and Gender Studies Department.
